You show your home, negeotiate the price and everything else that any other "For Sale By Owner" (FSBO) seller would do.
What's in it for the Real Estate Agent?
These days many FSBO home sellers will "Protect" real estate agents in order to compensate them for exposing your home. This "co-op" fee is only paid if the buyer comes from the agent and it usually consists of 1/2 of the totall commission paid on a real estate listing. You do not pay anyone anything if you find the buyer through your own efforts.
The local sponsor will show your home to his/her buyers with the understanding that you will protect him/her. If the sponsor brings a buyer to you, keep in mind that he/she represents the buyer only. However, if the buyer comes directly to you, the sponsor is not involved in either party.

Is my home listed with a real estate agent?

How do I know where the buyer came from?
Its pretty simple. Visitors finding our home on Direct2Seller.com or through your own advertising and selling efforts will be instructed to contact you directly. Visitors to the local real estate website will be instructed to contact the local sponsor.
